48 Hot Rod Set

The Hot Rod offers a superb solution for breaking the epoxy bond and removing a steel shaft fully intact — especially from clubhead materials that should not receive direct heat. The same procedures can be used on most graphite shafts with a small-diameter heating rod designed specifically for graphite shafts.

When used with care, these extra long 48-inch rods for full-length shafts can be used by themselves or as supplemental heating with a heat gun or torch.

Please note that heating rods to a ‘red hot’ temperature or use as a ram rod to hammer iron heads from the shaft is not recommended.
